Rooted in Aymara tradition
The Aymara people are one of the ancient cultures of the Andes, known for their mastery of textile craftsmanship.
Most of the artisans we work with are Aymara women. Through Yanawara — “a star that comes from afar” — we honor their knowledge and carry their story from the Andes to New York.
Our mission
We work alongside Bolivian artisans, honoring women in leadership and preserving ancestral craftsmanship. Through transparency and thoughtful design, we aim to foster a deeper appreciation for ethical, responsible fashion.
